Focus on volunteering, not the expense
TheBigDay has partnered with the Global Volunteer Network (GVN)
to help volunteers fund their trips to overseas destinations.
Travel expenses are a barrier for many of the GVN volunteers, whose average age is 23. The GVN registry allows friends and family to help the volunteer
give back to the world. Volunteers are responsible for dividing
funds between their GVN program fees, travel costs and donations to the GVN Foundation for charitable purposes.
Couples with other registries are able to request charitable donations for their favorite organizations,
in addition to listing travel experiences.
